The City of Sandpoint sits on the shores of Lake Pend Oreille, (pronounced Pond O'ray) The 5th deepest lake in the country at 1,158 feet deep and 43 miles long. The 111 miles of shoreline are a combination of National Forest, marinas, and limited private waterfront homes.
